RULES & REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE USE OF PREMISES OF THE SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS (Click here for printable version)

For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and the protection and conservation of our greenery, please do observe the National Parks Act (Cap 198A) and its Regulations. Some extracts are as follow -

  1. Please do not damage the plants, turf, park furniture or structures, or attach anything to them.
  2. Please do not set up tents, or place tables or chairs in the Gardens.
  3. Please do not disturb other visitors or create a nuisance.
  4. Please do not sell, display for sale any thing or perform any service in exchange for reward.
  5. Please do not obstruct any path or access.
  6. Please be reminded that the use of motor vehicles (including motor or micro-scooters), bicycles or skates in the Gardens is not permitted.
  7. Please also be reminded that the use of sound systems, including speakers, is not permitted.
  8. Except for dogs on leash, animals are not allowed within the Gardens.
  9. Please clean up after your dog and dispose of all waste in a hygienic manner.
  10. Please dispose of your litter in the bins provided and help us keep the Gardens clean.

Your cooperation in observing the National Parks Act (Cap 198A) and its Regulations is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
