Sun Garden

The Sun Garden displays succulents and other plants of arid regions. Succulents have fleshy leaves or stems that store water. In stem succulents, the stems may be green and take over from the leaves as the main organs of photosynthesis. Succulents include cacti and euphorbias. Other drought-tolerant species include agaves, yuccas and grass trees.

Passing of Knowledge
The Passing of Knowledge sculpture (2003) by local sculptor Victor Tan Wee Tar was presented by the Rotary Club of Singapore. The sculpture depicts his interpretation of the 4-Way Test, a philosophy embraced by Rotarians worldwide.

The 4-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
