Jacob Ballas Children's Garden turns 5!

We are celebrating the 5th anniversary of Singapore's most popular children's garden with a Carnival and raising funds for a new extension to the garden. Come join us for a fun-filled day of games, food and entertainment!

Carnival Highlights

Garden Stomp
Participate in the Garden Stomp, a kids' dressed-up garden themed walkathon for ages 4 to 12 years old. Help us raise funds through a pledge card prior to the event.

Pledge cards are available for collection at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden from 9 October 2012 till 1 November 2012. For enquiries, please contact the Education Branch at 6465 0196 or through email nparks_sbg_edu@nparks.gov.sg

    • Sales of Coupons
    Carnival coupons are on sale at the Singapore Botanic Gardens - Garden Shop, the Library Shop and the Visitor Centre of Jacob Ballas Children's Garden till 18 November. Coupons will be available onsite on the actual day as well.
    **Please note that the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden will be exclusively opened for coupon holders only.

    All fund raised will go towards the new Jacob Ballas Children's Garden Extension that would help our kids to connect with nature through play. This would enable greater appreciation and love of our natural environment.

    • Parking rate is $0.02/min, (Electronic Parking System)
    It is a 7-minute walk from Botanic Gardens Circle Line MRT to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

    Shuttle Service (Event day only)
    Based on the parking locations, we have shuttle services running for the day from these locations in this sequence:
  • Botany Centre (Napier/Holland Road junction (Drop off point)
  • Visitor Centre (Evans/Nassim Road junction (Drop off point)
  • Raffles Building (Just outside Food Canopy outlet)
  • Jacob Ballas Children's Garden
  • Botanic Gardens Circle Line MRT Station (Drop off point) (Please note that there are no parking lots here)

    • Bus Schedule
    - First bus 0900hrs (Botany Centre)
    - Last bus leaves Jacob Ballas Children's Garden 1830hr

    Please note that the last bus for each location is:
  • Botany Centre 1805hr
  • Visitor Centre 1810hr
  • Raffles Building 1815hr
  • Jacob Ballas Children's Garden 1830hr
  • Botanic Gardens Circle Line MRT Station 1800hr
